We should not only talk about love on Valentine's Day or throw it out at the end of a phone call ("love ya").
My mom sent me an email with the following descriptions of what LOVE is from the perspective of children...
'When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.
You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.'
'Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still
friends even after they know each other so well.'
'Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it
everyday.'
'Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is
handsomer than Robert Redford.'
So here's the giveaway portion... I have a lovely surprise to send the winner.
And here are the rules:
1. Leave a comment and tell me what love means to you: an action, a gift, a meal, a trip, a note, a smile, etc.
2. Leave an additional comment if you are a follower
3. Leave another comment if you blog/facebook/twitter about the giveaway.
That's three chances to enter folks!! Good luck!! -E
p.s. I'll be in Memphis all weekend so a winner will be chosen Monday morning! Be sure you enter by 6pm Sunday night!!
This is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove is the biggest smile on ones face. It's the feeling of serenity within. It's living out your dreams while you're awake.
Love, to me, is having daughters like you and your sister, and a son like your brother.
ReplyDeletePS I am NOT eligible to win.
I am biased, but you are the sweetest young person in the world!

Love is recognizing each others flaws and accepting them and loving them all the more for them.
ReplyDeleteLove is chocolate chip cookies and endorphins.
