Homecoming 2009 Window Paintings

Well, the end of the first Homecoming work-week is done!! I am so lucky to work with a great group of Homecoming chairs.

We have 9 organizations participating in the Homecoming Competition. The window paintings were due today at 5:00pm. I am astounded by the talent of our students!! I just have to share them with you all!

The theme for Homecoming this year is "The Tribute." Each organization has the opportunity to create their own theme (for their window, banner, standing float, and Lip Sync) that enhances the overall theme.

The windows in our University Center are now adorned with these amazing paintings.

The students seem to really like the new location!

More updates to come!!! xoxo, E

  1. I am truly amazed at the love the OCU students show towards President and Mrs. McDaniel. It says a lot about the two of them that the students THAT ARE THERE NOW would think so highly of them.

I still remember that day we first visited the OCU campus and saw President McDaniel walking with a male student. For those of you that have not heard the story, I could not believe that the University President would have such a good relationship with the students that the student would actually enjoy walking with him and that the student was not embarrassed by being seen with the President.

That was not how it was in my day. President McDaniel has done a lot for the university and he is also appreciated by the parents.
