Check it off the bucket list... I went to my first college football game!!
Decked out in my orange and black to support OSU!
The campus at OSU (OK State) is absolutely gorgeous. It was a beautiful day with blue skies and cool weather.
As we walked back to the stadium, we found a sidewalk with plaques for the various Greek organizations on campus.
Look who I found:
Nanny!
Momma!
Me!
After we had dinner in the suites, we went out to the stadium. The "OOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUU Marching Band!!!!" (that's my attempt at the announcer's voice) started off the evening. Marcus made fun of me because of how excited I was about the band.
They spelled out "Cowboys"
And I'm no geography expert, but that looks like the great state of
O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A!
Other highlights of the game included Pistol Pete firing his gun throughout the game and a cannon going off when the Pokes scored a touchdown. What a great first college football experience!!
