Beantown

Goodbye QC! Hello...

We're off to Boston for the week and I'm so excited! Unfortunately, the Red Sox don't have any home games until Friday evening (after we leave) but I'm excited to go to Fenway and experience the feeling of that area (without all the "crazies" according to Jeffy).

I've been trying to do some research to figure out what we should do while in Boston and I've come up with a few things:
The Freedom Trail (I love to sightsee and see the history of a city, so this seems to be the perfect way)
Go to Newbury Street (roomie said there is an caramelized apple bread pudding that's to DIE for at a restaurant here)
Head over to The No Name Restaurant for yummy seafood
Take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket (last two ideas are courtesy of Mama G)
Go on a Duck Boat Tour:
If for no other reason than it does this:

If you've been to Boston and have any other advice of things to do I'd love to hear! I'm really excited to explore Beantown! See you guys Saturday! xoxo, E

  1. 1.Go to Charles Street. Fab shopping. Check out Flat of the Hill and the Beacon Hill Bistro. A great little french bistro.
    2. Newbury Street...Stephanies is a fab place to have lunch and people watch.
3.Copley Square is lovely facing the Boston Public Libary and Trinity Church.
. Walks straight up to the Boston Commons. Take a ride on the swan boats, walk the park and beautiful gardens.
. Fanuiel Hall...lots of bars, restaurants, shopping. Very fun.
North End if you like Italian food.
Ferry ride is EXCELLENT idea to hit Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket or even Provincetown on the Cape. Fab shopping there too!
There's always whale watching boats too.
Duck Tours are fun too and give you a drive through the city.
    Have fun!
